These are not, however, just simple snapshots. I have adapted a technique used by wedding and portrait photographers to achieve impossibly shallow depth of field, "The Brenizer Method". The images are made by blending dozens of pictures (nearly) seamlessly together in the computer so the clients may have a stylish photo to post on their chosen social media platform. In my large scale prints, the aberrations left over from compositing become more visible, and they complicate the pictures' seductive light, color, and framing. The images are at once paeans to the joys of being present, and testaments to the neverending feed.
